Also known as Guepiniopsis alpina, alpine jelly cone. Fruiting body color: Yellow to orange, varies with moisture. Fruiting body shape: Small cone with depressed top. Fruiting Body Size: to 1″. Stalk: Present where attached to substrate. Season:Two seasons, May to June, October to November. Habitat: Coniferous wood. Range: Pacific Norhtwest and Rocky Mountains. Edibility: Unknown, too small to be worthwile.
